Do you have expert witnesses in all states?
Yes, we have an extensive database of expert witnesses that we work with throughout all 50 states. All our experts are board-certified doctors in the USA.
Is there an upfront fee for locating an expert?
No! We are not a referral service. You only pay when you decide to proceed with the review. The fees that we advertise go towards the actual review and opinions.
What exactly is the “Free Summary Review”?
The Free Summary Review is a great option to help line up the right expert and get some feedback on a possible case. For this service, we will send your summary out to some possible experts to see if they are a good fit and if it sounds like a good case assuming the information in the summary is accurate and consistent with the records. This service does not include reviewing any records or material. This is simply just a summary. The summary should not exceed one page in length.
What is the benefit of hiring an expert witness?
An expert witness is critical to any possible case. The expert will help you understand the complexity of a case, provide an unbiased point of view and work on implementing their opinions within your legal strategy to enhance your case.
Is this service available to non-attorneys?
Yes, however, we have to confirm within our database of experts that we have an expert who is willing to work with a pro se litigant and the individual or private party must understand our process and sign our hold harmless agreement form. Many experts only work with law firms/attorneys. Our primary clientele are law firms or attorneys that understand the nature of these cases and know what questions need to be answered to determine if there is a viable case to proceed further. Individuals representing themselves are more likely to be emotionally invested into in a case which could lead to an ineffective approach to a case review. If you are an individual and want to have your case reviewed, you must first submit a summary of your case so we can run it by possible experts to see if they are willing to accept the case. If an expert is interested in your case and is willing to work with a pro se litigant, we will happily assist you.
